Shades On Main Restaurant Ltd

The food is plentiful but mediocre. The cleanliness and service is very good!

My husband and I were referred to this restaurant we just driving through. I was skeptical never been here before. The place was pretty busy. I was impressed by the cleaninesss of the restaurant. If the cleanliness of the washrooms is a reflection of the kitchen then the kitchen must be spotless. I had breakfast, shades scramble, she had lunch, chicken burger. The food was great, hot and quick The staff was busy and efficient. will be back for sure! Thanks.

My husband and I live in Penticton and will never go back. I have never had such poor service in my life. Our waitress which by the way turned out to be the owner, sat us down and then walked by us three times and never even asked us if we would like a coffee, but she did bring coffee to the other 3 tables that she walked by us. If she had even said I'll just be a minute but we got nothing. NO SMILES, NO EYE CONTACT, NO COFFEE, NO MENUS must be nice in this economy to loose money from your own town

I think Shades is one of the best Family Restaurants in the Penticton area, the food is good every time we eat there. Manuella and her family and the staff do a very good job. They are all friendly and courteous and it is a great atmosphere while dining there.

I think Scott has it all wrong. I'm sorry that he had a bad experience, but it is not a reflection of the restaurant. I go to Shades weekly and always enjoy the food and service. to attack Manuella and her family personally is a very low thing to do. I would suggest going to Shade if you enjoy a family atmosphere with good home cooking.

This is worst food I've ever tasted. No kidding!!!!!
If Manuela ,the owner, or the kitchen manager had the slightest idea on how to run a restaurant, I sure didn't see it. I hope when they go broke, the next owners can try to rebuild the loyal costomer base the previous owners worked so hard to achieve.
