Wow Golf Club

2012-05-09. Manager/owner had no customer service skills and considering he owns the Super 8 in Penticton this is even more shocking. He hung up on me twice when I was trying to find out the cost after I had booked my tee time. Third time I called back and cancelled he yelled at me, my wife was 20ft away and could hear him. This guy has no business being in the service/hospitality industry.

The Asian manager was very impolite and unprofessional on the phone when asking a question. I'd never go to this golf course, again.

Owner was extremely rude. Made 2 tee times for 5 people. Planned to get 2 carts and trade off who would walk throughout the round. Owner told us not to be silly or we'd be done and he'd kick us off. Decided to just get the 3rd cart to avoid any hassles. The course was far from busy and the closest group behind us was 2 holes back. We decided to merge into a group of 5. On the last hole the owner waved at us from afar as if to tell us we were supposed to come in and told us to hurry up, (still no one even close to us). When we finished the hole we dropped off our carts and said to him that we didn't think it would be a big deal to form 5 as we weren't holding anyone up. he then said, i told you no group of 5... he never said that to begin with. I replied, no you told us we couldn't have 3 people on a cart, you never said anything about no group of 5. He said back, no, i said no 5! Now you're done, done! I told him we wouldn't be back and we'd spread the word on his rude behaviour. It's too bad that new ownership can ruin a fun course.
On a related note, this guy also owns the Super 8 motel in Penticton. He tried to kick my family members out of their rooms in the early hours of the morning following my grandfather's funeral. It was far from a loud raucous party, just a lot of family gathered in a couple rooms. What a joke!
